REWRITING AND REPHRASING
• Focuses on the author’s intended audience. The document
will be edited to retain the author’s style and tone
while ensuring that it properly presents the subject matter
to its intended reader. Upon submission of an order, the
client must state whether the reader is presumed to be
a layperson, a group of academics, professionals, lawyers,
etc. If a document is not written at the reader’s
level of comprehension, it will lose its effectiveness.
